We recently undertook the first of what will be our annual staff survey, asking our teams to tell us what they think of working here…and the results are pretty great!
20 out of a possible 21 of our staff responded, and 100% reported that they are proud to work here, with 95% saying that they would recommend Nottingham Women’s Centre as a great place to work.
We’re pretty blown away with those results and are really proud in turn of the amazing work that every member of the team here does. The Trustees and Senior Managers say a huge “thank you” to every woman who works here, you are all awesome!
Once again this year, we were among the stallholders and revellers at Pride, celebrating our City’s fantastic LGBTQ community. Highlights were the number of people coming up to us with supportive messages around our work on misogyny hate crime and the work we do supporting the LGBTQ community through our Communities of Identity project.
It was also really great to meet women from the past and present who have been a part of the Women’s Centre and who have either given or received much-needed support over the years. We’ve been embedded within the community for over 40 years and Pride is one of the key events for us. And as you can see from the photos, it was a great day out for staff and volunteers too!
