Because I am a Woman – experiences of misogyny hate crime

Working in conjunction with Nottinghamshire Police we have produced ‘Because I am a Woman’ – a short video of women’s experiences of misogyny hate crime and street harassment.

There are two versions of the video – the full length version (10 minutes) and a shorter one, suitable for social media sharing.

We are hugely grateful to the women who gave up their time to participate in this and share their stories.

If you think misogyny should be a hate crime across the UK, please consider adding your name to the online petition here.

Learning and Speaking English

These lessons aim to increase confidence in speaking English and communication with English speaking people in everyday life. Women may be more comfortable to go out meeting new people and will find it easier to engage with other members of their community.

Starts: Thursday 22nd September, 10am-12 noon

Initially for 6 weeks but if there is demand it will continue.

Open to all women – you can just turn up on the day of the first or second session.
