Nottingham Women’s Centre is a community hub in the heart of Nottingham. Why not use us as a safe and friendly space to meet?
Any woman is welcome to come along and use Nottingham Women’s Centre as a meeting place. Whether you want to book a room for an activity or just drop in for a cuppa alone or with friends, our space is available to you.
Meeting informally
Our Welcome Space and Nottingham Women’s Library are available to everyone whenever we’re open and don’t require booking. We encourage women to come in and relax, meet other women and have a cup of tea in these spaces whenever they want. Our Welcome Space is fully wheelchair accessible, unfortunately our Library is not.
Meeting formally – Meeting Rooms
We have four different sized meeting/training rooms available for groups of women to hire.
The rooms can be set up in either a ‘Boardroom’ or ‘Theatre’ arrangement with a capacity of up to 50 people in the largest space. We can also accommodate much smaller groups in our other rooms!
One of our rooms has its own SmartScreen installed and we can provide a projector in our other spaces for an additional £10. All of our rooms have Flipcharts and we can provide paper and pens for use on them for an additional £2.50.
The rooms can be booked for either a morning session (9am-1pm), afternoon session (1pm-5pm), or for the full day (9am-5pm).
Room booking fees
We offer a sliding payment scale based on the following booking groups:
- An individual or community group
- A group working in the voluntary or charity sector
- A group working in the statutory or private sector
Book a room!
If you would like to book a meeting room at the Centre please download our room booking form below and email it to: reception@nottinghamwomenscentre.com Our Reception team will then be in touch with information about the available spaces and their costs.
Accessibility
Please be aware that Nottingham Women’s Centre finds its home in a very old building. This means that some of the rooms towards the top of the building (sadly, this includes our Library!) don’t have lift access. Please make sure you mention any mobility concerns or requirements in your room booking form, so we can advise you on the best space too book. Our rooms on the bottom floor of the building are fully wheelchair accessible.
